Our God is pleasant! Remember what David said of his best friend Jonathan:

“…very pleasant hast thou been unto me. Thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of women.”

2 Samuel 1:26 KJV

The word pleasant in that passage (according to Strong’s Concordance) means “to be pleasant, be beautiful, be sweet, be delightful, be lovely.”

Wow – those are ALL attributes of our God, aren’t they? Did you also notice the description “be sweet” among them? HALLELUJAH! This week’s program discusses Pleasantness as a key attribute of our Father. Tune in to hear more of this wonderful podcast, and may you be encouraged in His love and sweetness abiding with you and in you, forever. Amen.

The Sweetness of God – Program #3 – PLEASANTNESS

It is the nature of God to forgive, to spare, to pardon, and to relent from doing harm; that’s simply our good God.

Even with that, the GOODNESS of God seems very much a broad, far-reaching, general, almost generic term. How can we make it special to our personal understanding? How can we make His goodness specific to our appreciation and acknowledgement, daily?

The Sweetness of God – Program #2 – GOODNESS

Kindness for the believer in Jesus Christ involves much more than a string of small acts performed outwardly or surficially as the mood strikes.

Although you might say to yourself, “I don’t have the capacity to show kindness just like Jesus – after all, He’s God!” that is a grossly incorrect assumption!

If you are saved, then Jesus Christ Who is Lord, God, and King of kings, lives in you, doesn’t He? That means every righteous component of His character is also part of your character because, at the cross of Calvary, an amazing exchange took place!

Turn to 2 Corinthians 5:21 in your bibles today, and tune in this week’s program for more…
