The Lord is to be glorified at all times; His praise should be uttered from our mouths forever! (My own paraphrase of Ps. 34:1)
Welcome to YOUR MOST HOLY FAITH. 🙂
Today’s time of prayer, praise, and word is filled with the joy and expectation of our God. Regarding our relationship, once the Lord said to me, “It’s Me and you and Me and you forever and ever and ever and ever and ever…”
When He said it, I wept, for my soul says AMEN!
The real beauty of such a statement from Him is that He not only looks forward to having that with me… He’ll immensely enjoy that same kind of intimate union with all the saved of earth. Hallelujah!
I talk to you a lot about faith here on YOUR MOST HOLY FAITH, and God’s scripture says “faith comes by hearing the Word of God.” So, today I have for you a reading from Romans Chapter 1.
I love the Book of Romans; breathed out by Holy Spirit through the Apostle Paul, it was my very favorite book of the Bible from the time I was 12, and is still in my top three all-time favorite epistles. Over the years, my heart has slightly yielded that space to the Book of Hebrews, which many believe Paul also wrote. Next in my top three is the Book of Ephesians – another bullseye for Paul (though God’s Holy Spirit inspired ALL scripture).
I recommend Romans to New Testament readers because it is extremely instructional and powerfully bold in its presentation of TRUTH. Those qualities meet the desires of my heart in Christ Jesus, for as the scripture says…
“…I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…”Romans 1:16
It’s my pleasure to put this chapter to lovely music as I share it with you. God bless you as you hear! 🙂
Prayer is an amazing thing. Prayer can move mountains and little streams; through faith in Jesus Christ, it can obliterate darkness and create light. Fullness, restoration, healing are all possible through the power of prayer.
I’ve been experiencing and exploring the power of prayer – particularly since I surrendered to my special grace – and it is a wonderland far beyond my imagining. I don’t say that tritely or even fancifully (though “wonderland” is a fanciful term), I declare it from the standpoint of pure astonishment at the power of God.
The Lord, through prayer in faith, can defy gravity, heal sickness, stop storms, and raise the dead. Though the Holy Scriptures list accounts of all of these, they are all still possible and actually happening today.
Faith is an astounding force; so astounding, that it will work for evil as well as for good, and just which one it works for is entirely up to us. Yes, it’s true; that’s why paying strict attention to the words we speak in faith is so critically important. Negative statements (especially declarations) can bring life or death to things like our bodies, spirits, relationships, and finances. Words spoken in faith can wound or heal, strike down or build up, curse or bless… FAITH IS ALL-IMPORTANT in the life of every believer, but it sows and reaps in everyone, saved or not, because God has given to every man “a measure of faith”. (See Romans 12:3)
For example, if by faith you believe and say you are a chronic failure, then you are; but if you unyieldingly believe and say you will make it through a trial, you will; it’s that simple, because you are marvelously made in the image of God and formed after His likeness, which means (as Proverbs states) “death and life are in the power of the tongue.” The Holy Bible goes on to warn us that, if we love to talk, we’d better be especially mindful of what’s uttered by our tongue because, “those who love it will eat its fruit.” In other words, watch your mouth; for what you speak will come back to you in bigger portions.
So… when I pray, I speak the way Holy Spirit tells me to speak – mostly in tongues – and I pray with my understanding totally submitted to Him. That’s the first job of every child of God, let alone His intercessors!
What kinds of prayers have you been praying lately? What statements (especially declarations) over yourself or others have you been most inclined to make? Good or bad? Worldly or holy? Holiness is simply separation from the world – so is sanctification – and being set apart for God’s specific use. Child of God, if you think that sort of thing doesn’t apply to you as a Christian, you’re wrong. You’ve already deliberately been set apart from others in your life who do not know God; your specific mission in sanctification now is to make their numbers smaller by inviting them to know Jesus the way He wants ALL people to know Him – through FAITH. Invite them to accept His gift of life by giving their lives to Him.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”Ephesians 2:8-10 NKJV
The prayer of faith can save the sin-sick soul as well as the physically sick. One day, all of us will leave our mortal bodies and be gone from the earth; some to eternal condemnation, others to everlasting life. Praying for the salvation of others is some of the most powerful intercession we can offer. Why not “watch your words” win a soul to the Lord today? I promise, you both will enjoy the fruit of those words forever! 😀
HELLO, EVERYONE! 😀
It’s a new month and YOUR MOST HOLY FAITH begins it with a marvelous word from our Lord as the Beloved Bridegroom looking forward to retrieving His Bride… HALLELUJAH!
Sometimes we don’t think about our future from Christ’s side of it; how He longs to be united with us who believe, for we will be spotless and without wrinkle or blemish before Him! He is enthused (to say the least) about that great day described in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; it’s the day ALL we who believe regard sacredly as our Blessed Hope. Glory!
Believe me, you DON’T want to miss today’s program! Tune in, for the Love of our lives is speaking…
Happy Friday to everyone!
It is SO important to our God that we know He hears and sees us always. That’s the crux of today’s marvelous word from our Father, the Lord Jesus, and Holy Spirit on this edition of YOUR MOST HOLY FAITH.
Tune in for a blessing in prayer, praise, and word. Have a WONDERFUL weekend!
